LDA demolishes three illegal constructions

LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Saturday demolished three illegal constructions, besides sealing one over building bylaws violation.

Illegal construction of buildings without getting map’s approval and documentations from departments concerned along with violation of LDA building bylaws are increasing in the provincial metropolis.

However, over 20 illegal building structures along with 70 other sites were demolished and sealed, respectively by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA)’s Town Planning Wing from December 1 to 17.

The operation was conducted in the private housing schemes and other areas of the city, including Green Villas, Al Rehman Garden Phase-2, Iqbal Avenue Phase-3, Sukh Chain Garden Housing Scheme, Khayaban-i-Khairuddin, Gujjarpura Housing Scheme, Pak Arab Housing Scheme, newly constructed alternate route to Rai Wind from Qadar Tobash Chowk Khyaban-e-Jinnah to Defence Road, Main Boulevard Gulberg, New Garden Town, Iqbal Town and other areas.
