ACE Deputy Director Syed Ayub Bukhari and Civil Judge Rashid Afzal arrested Bakhtiyar red-handed from Jugnu Chowk. Talking to reporters, Bukhari said that citizen Muhammad Arshad had submitted a written application with the ACE, claiming that Hatim Bakhtiyar was demanding Rs 30,00 from him.
The complainant further submitted that he did not want to give the money and requested the ACE to take action against the accused. “Taking action over the application, an ACE team, including Civil Judge Rashid Afzal, arrested Bakhtiyar and seized marked currency notes from his possession,” Bukhari said.
