Clerics and religious scholars addressing ‘Tahafuz e Harmain Al Sharifain, Al- Aqsa Conference’ demanded the leadership of Muslim Ummah and OIC to play an effective role against the prevailing, increasing terrorist incidents in Muslim world and on rising tension in Gulf countries. Tahafuz e Harmain Al Sharifain, Al Aqsa Conference held here on Friday in aegis of Pakistan Ulema Council. Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council presided over the conference and announced to observe ‘Ashrah e Tahafuz e Harmain Al Sharifain, All Aqsa’ from 20th Ramadhan to 29th Ramadhan. Ashrafi also stated that leadership of Muslim Ummah has left with no other option but to unite the Muslim world to contain the confronting challenges. He also added that Muslim community should take action against elements aims at making divisions within Muslim Ummah. He claimed that foreign interference in affairs of Arab Islamic world responsible for rising terrorism and extremism incidents in Muslim world. Terrorists want to disrupt peace and harmony of Harmain Al Sharifain. Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi also demanded of the leadership of OIC and UNO to take action against the foreign masterminds supporting terrorism and extremism in Muslim countries.
Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi addressing the conference warned that if terrorism incidents are not controlled, Muslim Ummah will not hesitate to take any step for security and defense of the holy places of Muslims.
