The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday directed the removal of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director Muhammad Noman in a contempt case. Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti heard pleas filed against the LDA director and DG in the contempt of court case. The court allowed LDA Director Muhammad Noman to leave the court premises after keeping him in court custody for four hours. During the hearing, LHC also withdrew its previously issued show-cause notice against him and ordered his removal from directorship. “The Lahore Development Authority should appoint a new director”, Justice Ameer Bhatti stated.
