LAHORE: The Beaconhouse National University (BNU) Tuesday conferred degrees on 412 graduates during its 11th convocation held at Tarogil Campus.
Board of Governors Chairperson Nasreen Kasuri was the chief guest on the occasion, whereas Vice Chancellor Shahid Hafiz Kardar, PTI leader Khurshid Kasuri, Beaconhouse Group CEO Kasim Kasur, faculty members, students and their parents were also present.
A total of 412 graduates were awarded degrees on the occasion. 129 students received graduation degrees where as 283 students received undergraduate degrees. These include 81 from Mariam Dawood School of Visual Arts and Design (SVAD), 51 from Razia Hassan School of Architecture (SA), 40 from Seeta Majeed School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SLASS), 93 from School of Media and Mass Communication (SMC), 70 from School of Computer and IT (SCIT), 40 from the Institute of Psychology (IP) and 37 from School of Education (SE).
However, 14 females students out of 20 were awarded gold medals for outstanding achievement.
