Masood, Zubair discuss Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu Kashmir President Masood Khan called on Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman General Zubair Mahmood Hayat at the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

During the meeting, matters of regional security with emphasis on human rights violations by the Indian armed forces in the disputed state of Jammu Kashmir came under discussion, according to ISPR. Sources revealed that the visiting president informed General Zubair that the Kashmir issue was highlighted in every international forum.

The international community and the United Nations had been urged to play their role to stop India from human rights violations in the disputed state. The situation along the Line of Control (LoC) also came under the discussion, it said.
