Pakistan’s first psychological horror film ‘Kataksha’ to release on June 21

Pakistan’s first psychological horror film ‘Kataksha’ will release in cinemas on June 21, 2019.

Metro Live Movies has acquired the distribution rights of the film and plans to launch it nationwide with a big bang. The shoot for the film has taken place at the ancient and the famous Katas Raj Temple, Kalar Kahar and Soon Valley, among other scenic locations of Islamabad.

The film’s cast includes Salim Meraj, Nimra Khan, Mubeen Gabol, Qasim Khan and Kiran Tabeer. Salim Meraj, who has countless films to his credit like ‘Na Maloom Afraad’, ‘Actor-in-Law’, ‘Laal Kabootar’ and others, will be taking on the main role in the film, whereas this would be Mobeen Gabol and Nimra Khan’s first film.

‘Kataksha’ writer and director Abu Aleeha informed that the film’s post production is in the works. The film’s trailer will be released on Eidul Fitr and will be screened at all cinema houses of Pakistan. The makers are all set to release their film on June 21.
