ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Nabil Gabol on Sunday said that Saad Rafiq should mourn over the illegibility of his party leadership instead of threatening the JIT and judges due to which the PML-N has to face this horrible situation.
He maintained that the PPP always supported democracy and endeavoured to strengthen it. “By giving blood the party always makes the democracy flourish in the country,” he said this in a statement.
He advised PML-N leader Saeed Rafiq to separate Nawaz Sharif from the power instead of giving alarming threats of dividing the country.
Highlighting the real facts of the history, he said that PPP leadership had always respected and accepted the harsh judgements of the judiciary and even on the judicial murder of PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto that party had not given any statement against the country sovereignty. He said that JIT was investigating the PM and his family on the directions of the Supreme Court but the PML-N ministers were doing negative tactics against it.
“On one hand PML-N take pride that the prime minister was appearing before the JIT and on the other hand they express reservations on the JIT,” he added. He said that it seems that Saad Rafiq has lost his senses after sensing the future scenario. “Former premiers including Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto are ruling even from their graves because they had struggled for the people of Pakistan,” he added.
