PM discusses matters of mutual interest with Uzbekistan’s deputy pm

ISLAMABAD: Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Ulugbek Rozikulov met Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif today at PM House.

Both the leaders discussed matters of mutual interest. The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed the confidence that this visit will contribute towards enhancing the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif further highlighted the close relationship between both countries which is based on strong cultural values.

“We wish to take our bilateral relations to new heights with increased cooperation in trade, industries and human resource development,” said the Prime Minister.

He also invited the Uzbekistan leader to come and jointly work towards betterment of each other. He also stressed upon the need to formulate a joint plan for China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)

Meanwhile Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Ulugbek Rozikulov thanked the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for the warm welcome and said that all necessary steps would be taken to explore and exploit the huge business and trade opportunities between the two countries. The Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan extended an invitation to the Prime Minister on behalf of Uzbek President to visit Uzbekistan and the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has warmly accepted the invitation.
