KARACHI: The government of Sindh has declared a public holiday on 27 December, in order to commemorate the death of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
A notification issued by Sindh Chief Secretary Rizwan Memon stated “The Government of Sindh has been pleased to declare 27th December, 2016 (Tuesday) as Public Holiday throughout the Province of Sindh on the occasion of Shahdat of Mohtrama Benazir Bhutto Shaheed for all offices, Autonomous. Semi-Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under the Administrative Control of Government of Sindh.”
