Designers from twin cities participate in Attitude Fashion Show

Glamorous models presenting fusion of East and West in exclusively designed apparels mesmerised the audience of twin cities on Thursday as part of the Attitude Fashion Show.

The show featuring glamour, style, elegance and skill of fashion designers hit the ramp of the federal capital where the fashion elite witnessed a fusion of eastern and western world fashion in the premier event that promised a grand celebration of Islamabad’s finest fashion creations.

The 6th edition of the spectacular fashion extravaganza was arranged by Episode Events with an esteemed line-up from Pakistan to capture the attention of fashion lovers of twin cities and introduce the concept of haute couture by providing opportunity to established and upcoming designers, models, choreographers, fashion writers and photographers.

The event showcased leading Islamabad based fashion brands as well as prêt designers to an audience comprising both the international and local buyers. The show was an attempt to add creativity of young talent for promoting haute couture with increasing interest of people in the fashion industry of the federal capital.

Fashion shows are much-awaited events for fashion starved audience of the twin cities as such events showcase upcoming trends and styles in the field of fashion.

“These fashion events not only promote the countries’ finished products export, but strengthen the country’s fashion related cottage industries,” the organisers said while talking to media.

“Fashion events are a perfect way to showcase and promote textiles, casual and formal wear and other fashion-related products in local and international markets. This show will serve as a fashion and trade event that facilitates trade and exposure for our guests as well as highlighting our local talent,” organiser Amir Malik said.

A total of five participating designers presented innovative, edgy and offbeat attires that portrayed classic silhouettes, fine tailoring and intricate surface designs and the design philosophy included the modern day aesthetics with traditional concept of drapes that offered both the most contemporary attires and typical zari apparels.
