The relatives of Khalil Ahmad , a man who was shot dead alongside his wife and young daughter during a counter-terrorism operation in Sahiwal,  have decided  to hold a protest outside the Punjab Assembly building today (Saturday).

Members of Khalid ‘s immediate kin released a video message in which they bemoaned how the federal and provincial governments had failed to meet their legitimate demands leaving them with no choice but to take to the streets.

“After a lapse of three and a half months, no significance response was given by the competent government authorities towards our legitimate demands,” said Jalil, brother of the deceased.

Their demands include formation of a judicial commission to investigate the Sahiwal tragic incident, transfer of CTD case to Lahore and cancellation of the FIR lodged by the CTD against the victim’s family.
