ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan labeled the NAB scheme of plea bargaining with thieves as shameful.
He said this while chairing the party’s meeting at Bani Gala adding that it should be known that NAB had practically transformed into a constitutional institution involved in the guardianship of corruption.
He revealed that the news associated with Iftikhar Durrani and Faisal Javed being involved in corruption was wrong and baseless, pointing out that this message of corruption in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was wrongfully being spread through such news.
The PTI chairman expressed his opinion that bringing the regulators under the subordination of ministries was just a new way to loot money.
Imran also revealed that the report from Justice Faiz Essa was in essence a charge sheet against the government and that his party would raise its voice over this issue on every platform.
