AIOU admissions to start from August 1

ISLAMABAD: The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will start its new admissions (Autumn 2017) from August 1. According to Directorate of Admissions, a number of new programmes — BS, MPhil and PhD –would be introduced during the upcoming semester. The university is also planning to launch short-courses of professional nature on the directives of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Siddiqui. Meanwhile, the university has completed the process of its admissions for the Spring Semester 2017 and placed particulars of students on its official website. Data of incomplete admission forms have also been placed on the website alongside objections. Most of the enrolled students have been sent books and other allied material through post. Rest of them will receive the books till mid July. They Otherwise, they can contact the Admissions Directorate by sending emails at adms@aiou.edu.pk.
