Peshawar school principle thrashes student for ‘stealing stapler’

PESHAWAR: A private news agency reported on Monday that the principle of a private school in Nahaqi allegedly tortured a student for “stealing a stapler”, leaving marks on the boy’s genitals.

Muhammad Usman, the student reported that when he returned to his classroom after recess; he found a stapler in his bag.

He further added that his principle at Muslim Children Academy thrashed him hard for the missing stapler to the point that he felt sick and vomited.

Although the police personnel noted the principle’s name, there was no mention of an FIR being reported nor any action being taken against the accused.

Upon request for comment, the school administration refused to make a statement.

Muhammad Usman’s father has appealed the Department of Education to take some action.
