Will not let anyone sabotage 18th amendment: Bilawal

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PPP will continue its stiff resistance to the attempts to sabotage 18th amendment, which empowered provinces, gave identity to the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and strengthened democracy.

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has extended felicitations to the newly-elected office-bearers of Peshawar High Court Bar Association (PHCBA), who defeated the alliance supported by ruling party in center and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.

In his message to the newly-elected President Abdul Lateef Afridi and General Secretary Abid Ali, the PPP Chairman said that victory of democratic, liberal and pro-people alliance comprised of ANP, Peoples Lawyers Forum and others has again proved that lawyers will remain in the forefront along with democratic political parties in the struggle for democracy, rule of law and against the dictatorial elements in the country.

PPP Chairman said that he was confident that lawyer fraternity would play active role to protect the constitution and democracy as per its shining past.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also asked President PHCBA Abdul Lateef Afridi and General Secretary Abid Ali to convey his congratulations to the other elected office-bearers of PHCBA.
