Tarnol SHO suspended

ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry has suspended the SHO Police Station Tarnol, Inspector Munir Jaffary, over supporting the land grabbers and abusing his subordinate staff.

The ministry has also decided not to give the charge of any police station to THE suspended Station House Officer in future as these types of officers were not only becoming a source of defaming the police department but also the applicants faced many problems in getting justice at the police stations.

In a fresh incident, SHO Munir Jaffary abused his subordinate officials harshly, who thumped him in the police station.

After become the victim of torture, SHO Jaffary took action and registered the case under Penal Code’s Article 9-C against his lower staff.

The police officials gave application to the ministry against Jaffary’s rude behaviour. Moreover piles of complaints from the general public against him are also present in the ministry of interior and IG’s office.

He had also the allegation that during his stay at the Police Station Tarnol, he allegedly supported the land mafia , who grabbed the land of a banker Kamal-ud-Din.

On the advice of Jaffary , the land grabbers also shot their own bodyguard and a case was registered for injuring him, against Kamal, the real owner of the land, who raised the issue in front of the high-ups of the interior ministry, which held an inquiry of the matter and found the SHO guilty.
