Manchester United record a fourth successive league win for the first time under manager Jose Mourinho.

The Red Devils enjoyed a less complicated afternoon, sinking Sunderland due to goals by Blind, Ibrahimovic and a special goal by Mkhitaryan.

Daley Blind opened the scoring in the 39th minute, taking a neat first touch on Ibrahimovic’s lay-off and steering a shot into the bottom-right corner. Ibrahimovic got on the score-sheet himself, nine minutes from time, slotting past Jordan Pickford to mark his 17th goal of the season.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan then sealed victory with a sensational back-heel, to announce the magic that he brought with himself from Dortmund. Though the goal had a huge question mark of offside, but that does not cancel out the extraordinary piece of skill the Armenian pulled off.

United drew level on points with fifth-place Tottenham Hotspur, who visit Southampton on Wednesday.Fabio Borini did respond for the visitors, but it a little too late as Sunderland manager David Moyes’ return to Old Trafford (OT) was one to forget.
