I do go through my own share of pain and angst: Katrina

Author: Zaresh Ernest

Model-turned-actress Katrina Kaif usually refrains from making comments about her personal life. We all know about her past relationship with actor Rabir Kapoor, but we did not see her posting any ‘lovey dovey selfies’ or snippets thus remaining private about the whole affair. Katrina Kaif definitely knows how to keep secrets, but recently in an interview, the ‘Bharat’ actress finally opened up. When asked about a recent event where she came across Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone, Kaif replied, “I do go through my own share of pain and angst. But I see no point in holding a grudge.

Whoever it is, I don’t see the point of holding on to anything unpleasant from the past. I would rather let bygones be bygones.”

Rather diplomatically, the actress added, “I don’t think anyone is out there to hurt me. People are trying to do the best for you. But, sometimes, in trying to do the best for you, you get hurt, too bad. However, I would rather have a friend than an enemy.”

Kapoor and Kaif were dating each other in 2009. Prior to that, Kapoor had also been in a relationship with Deepika Padukone. Rumour has it that Kaif was the reason why Kapoor left Padukone.

Kaif is quite professional when it comes to work. The couple starred in ‘Jagga Jasoos’ in 2017, after the break up. Kaif will next be seen in ‘Bharat’ opposite actor and producer Salman Khan while Kapoor will be seen in ‘Brahmastra’ next to his new girlfriend Alia Bhatt.
