PM Imran uses the female gender to try and insult Bilawal

While addressing a gathering in South Waziristan, Pakistan’s misogynist Prime Minister Imran Khan made an attempt to insult Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman  Bilawal Bhutto Zardari openly and called him ‘Sahiba’ (Miss).

He said, “I didn’t take authority on a piece of paper just like Bilawal Sahiba. My aim is to defeat corrupt people and give progress to the country,” he said, “in the name of saving democracy all corrupt people have united. But the nation should be rest assured I will fight them alone.”

PM further said that he will make sure for his entire life that no looter will receive a pardon or an NRO.

Imran Khan used a female gender word for Bilawal, thinking it would be demeaning. The culture of demeaning women has been very common in Pakistan’s politics even by female politicians. PTI has been regularly seen making fun of Bilawal by using feminine salutations to name-call him. Party trolls and even officials follow suit of their leader Imran Khan and openly use feminine description for Bilawal. Pakistan’s misogyny will always confuse sensitivity with femininity.

Following this comment, PPP chairman reacted on Twitter and said, “What was that about small men in big offices? #PMSelect.”
