767th Lal Shahbaz Urs: arrangements finalized

The administration Jamshoro has finalized the arrangement for 767th annual urs of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shahbaz on Wednesday. The three day annual Urs celebrations will hold from 24th April to 26th April at Sehwan city. To look into the security, 5,000 police personnel and 200 Rangers were deployed at Sehwan city. Beside, Pak Army and other law enforcement agencies will remain on high alert. Following the heat wave on the eve of urs celebration of Lal Shahbaz, the water tanks were installed at different places in city and one million the bottles of mineral waters were arranged to protect the devotes from the heat stroke and heat wave. Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has scheduled to inaugurate urs celebrations on the first day of 767th annula ur of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shahbaz. Governor Sindh will lay the floral wraths at the grave of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shahbaz and he will offer fatiha on Wednesday.

District Deputy Commissioner Fareeduddin Mustafa declared public holiday on 26th April on Friday. While DC Jamshoro has imposed section 145 on swimming into Indus River and other nullahs surrounding Sehwan city. DC Jamshoro also has banned the entry of heavy traffic on Indus high way and Sehwan city from 24thApril to 26thApril.

Chairman Mela Committee Sehwan shareef who is the deputy commissioner retired Faruddin Mustafa in his briefing to journalists said that the annual urs celebrations of 767 annual urs of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shanbaz will be commenced from 18 Shauban to 20 Shauban – 24thApril to 26thApril at Sehwan Shareef. He said that to celebrate to urs celebrations of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shahbbaz with respect and honour the administrations have finalized all programs.

As the weather is expected to remain hot during urs celebrations, about 200 sabils for fresh and drinking water were established at different places of Indus high way and Sehwan city. He said that 62 emergency response centres were set up to face any un- toward accident. He said it was the first time that the tents were provided to the thirty thousand devotes to stay at Sehwan. He said that medical centers were also set up and a large quantity of medicines was provided to them. He directed a health official to pay special attention on devotes and if any negligence would be found, they would be punished. He said that CC TV Cameras were installed at the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbza Qalandar and different places in city, walk through gates were set up where the male and female police officials were deployed to look into security. He said that through CC TV cameras and air drones, the security was being monitored at shrine of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shahbaz.
