Brig Zahid oversees arrangements for 767th Urs of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar

A high-level meeting of various government officials was held on Monday, at Sehwan, to review the arrangements for the nearing three-day 767th annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shahbaz.

The death anniversary would take place from April 24 to April 26 at Sehwan city. The meeting was presided over by Army Brigadier, Amir Zahid.

Mela Committee Chairman; Jamshoro Deputy Commissioner, Captain (R) Fareed-ud-din Mustafa; Jamshoro Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tauqir Mohammad Naeem and Oqaf Chief Administrator Munwar Ali Mahisar; Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Sehwan Director Dr Moeen Siddiqui and Municipal Committee Sehwan Chairman Syed Asif Ali Shah attended the meeting.

The devotees of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar from various parts of the country are heading to Sehwan Sharif on coaches, buses and cars. They have started establishing camps and tents in various parts of the city.
