Saira Peter enthrals audience at National Music Mela

Saira Peter on Sunday enthralled audience with fusion of eastern and western tunes at the ongoing seven-day National Music Mela, organised by the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA). Saira Peter sang “Suunway Balori Ankh Walia” and “Wada Karoo Sajna” and got a big applause from the audience at the open air theatre of PNCA. The Raga Boyz of the famous Patiyala Gharana performed music genres like pop, rock, Sufi music and classical fusion music. The audience listened to their songs “Maan Kuntum Maula”, “Nain Saay Nain Melay Rakhna” and “Manu Tere Jeya Sona” spellbound. Jia Nauman, a popular pop singer entertained the listeners with her melodious songs like “Yaad Sajan Di”, “Chal dil mere”, “Tali Daay Thalay”. She also sang duets with Nauman Lashari – “Hona tha pyar” and “Disco deewane”, while Nauman Lashari performed “Keh Dena” and “Yaaro yehi dosti hai”. Aafi, Bilal, Shehryar and Yawar of the Bakshi Group also performed.
