Khursheed Shah will remain opposition leader, PPP announces

KARACHI: PPP leader Khursheed Shah will stay the leader of the opposition in parliament, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) announced on Wednesday.

A Central Executive Committee meeting, headed by co-chairman Asif Zardari, discussed the issue regarding Khursheed’s position.

PPP leader Manzoor Watto said,“During the CEC meeting Asif Ali Zardari clarified that Khursheed Shah’s position is not in danger.”

He also added that the party had decided to go ahead with the long march they had planned on January 1, with the march beginning after Bilawal Bhutto arrives in Lahore.
