KARACHI: A close aide of Rahman Bhola, suspected of causing the Baldia factory fire four years ago, has made more revelations about the case during interrogation.

Ghulam Ali alias Goli, disclosed that the plan for setting the Baldia factory on fire was devised at MQM’s sector office ground in the area.
In his statement he confessed that the assailants reached the factory premises on a motorcycle and a car and that they were carrying arms. He added that they closed all the doors of the factory before setting it on fire using chemicals.

Ghulam also said they only came to know later that the fire had engulfed the entire factory.
