NAB contests Sharif, Fawad’s bail in SC

Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP), here on Thursday, approved the petition filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against a Lahore High Court (LHC) approval to bail pleas filed by former chief minister, Shahbaz Sharif, and former principal secretary to Prime Minister, Fawad Hassan Fawad, in the Ashiana Housing Scheme case.

NAB’s counsel, Naeem Bukhari, submitted the appeal before a three-member bench, led by Justice Azmat Saeed. SC issued notices to Sharif and Fawad. The hearing was adjourned till May 2.
