Author: News Desk

Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, on Thursday, refuted rumours of the member of National Assembly, Moonis Elahi, being replaced with MNA Salik Hussain as federal minister.

“I think it is impossible,” he added.

The former prime minister claimed that no allegation had bee proved against Elahi.

He added, “Our party had given the name of Moonis Elahi for federal ministry.”

As far as Elahi was concerned, he relayed that he had faced the earlier accusations after returning from London.

He had not applied for his bail but contested the trial and even spend eight months behind bars, Hussain maintained.

“He emerged successful with the blessings of Almighty Allah and was acquitted in all accusations,” PML President concluded.
