The NAB was said to have recovered the looted money from corrupt elements; depositing Rs 303 billion to the national exchequer, since its inception.
Justice Iqbal believed that the performance of NAB Lahore, in particular, had a key role in the overall performance of the corruption bureau.
He urged that returning the plundered amounts to the affectees of all housing/cooperative societies was highly prioritised by NAB while assuring that all possible steps were being taken to recover the money.
He appreciated NAB Director General Lahore Shehzad Saleem for his performance and efforts.
Earlier, NAB DG Lahore also updated the audience on developments in various mega-corruption cases.
