Sir: Dengue outbreak has widened in Kech district of Balochistan as more than 150 cases of dengue have been reported in the area from January till now. According to the District Health Officer, three out of the reported dengue patients have died while some others are in critical condition and some have recovered. But, the cases of dengue are increasing on a daily basis.
DHO further added that efforts were underway to control the increasing number of dengue virus in the Kech district. Dengue fever is transmitted by mosquitoes which starts with out as intermittent fever. It sometimes leads the patients to cause death as well. So, people of Turbat must be conscious about it and should have tests if they get fever so that they must not be affected a lot by the deadly disease.
