Islamic state takes responsibility for Hazara community blast

The terrorist attack that killed around 20 people in Quetta was organised by the Islamic State group, which took full responsibility on Saturday through their news agency ‘Amaq’.

The image of the bomber was also released claiming that the attack was aimed at the Shia community of Hazaraganji.

The people of the Hazara community had a sit-in on the road on Saturday, which included women and children who were all demanding that the culprits be punished

However, the Taliban claimed join responsibility for the bombing with Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), which has also assaulted the Shia community.

The blast was condemned by both the Prime Minister Imran Khan and Amnesty International. Imran Khan also ordered the increase in security and inquiry of the attack.

The decision was taken of immediately installing closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras at the Hazaraganji market and public place. This conclusion was made under the administration of Balochistan’s Chief Minister Jam Kamal on Friday.

Omar Waraich the deputy director of Amnesty also said, “each time, there are promises that have failed to materialise.”

The blast had occurred around 7:30 AM in the Hazarganji bazaar, despite the security the citizen’s are provided with.
