KARACHI: The city of lights had became the city of blood due to self-interests and the hate based politics being played in the past and if the politics of linguistic and extortion would not have taken place, the city would have been more modern than Dubai.

These views were shared by PTI’ chairman Imran Khan while talking to workers at Landhi during a membership campaign here on Friday.

Peace has been restored in Karachi and we would like to defeat all native forces. “We want to develop this great city as well as to unite all people from different linguistics in the metropolis.

He welcomed the youth and women to become the members of PTI. “Emotions of youth in Karachi indicate that a new era of development is awaiting, he added.

“We have started the membership campaign in the city so that PTI after the next general elections can serve and change the lives of the city residents.

The city was dragged to darkness as Karachi, the city of lights had become the city of blood due to self-interest and hatred politics being played in the past. The city lacks basic facilities like clean drinking water, proper education and health, “Karachiites will join the movement of struggle with the entire country.”

“We will struggle for the rights of Karachi as the identity of the city is its rights. We want to provide employment to youths of the city.”

“After conclusion of Panama Papers Scam, I will give more time to Karachi and visit the city as much as I can . “We want to streamline the police department of Karachi just like we have done in KPK,” he informed.
