Attorney General Pakistan Mr. Anwar Mansoor Khan presided. Federal Secretary Law and Justice Commission Dr. Rahim Awan, Asim Iqbal Advocate, newly elected President of Press Association of Supreme Court of Pakistan Mohammad Ateeq Afzal, President of Justice Help Line Nadeem Sheikh were guests of honor. A large number of Court reporters of Print and Electronic media also participated.
Federal Secretary Communications Mr. Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui said, the office bearers and workers of the “Justice Help Line” are providing legal services to the deprived people voluntarily and this social service is really commendable.
A detailed briefing was also given to the participants regarding Justice Helpline, in which it was told that an informative calendar is being published from this platform and that conference and workshops will also be arranged for training of the court reporters, wherein officers relating to investigation and prosecution will share their experiences and observations.
Mr. Nadeem Sheikh on this occasion apprised that a number of poor people visit him and we try our level best to provide them legal and moral aid in real sense. Social service is our moto. He said, most of the people are not aware about their legal and constitutional rights. We are driving campaign for making people aware about their basic rights.
The event was rounded off with gifts of “Sindhi Topi and Ajrak” to the Federal Secretary Communications Mr. Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, court reporters and other honorable guests.
