Government to raise education ratio in the merged tribal districts: CM KP

Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) inaugurated school enrollment campaign here in state-run school Jamrud, Khyber district on Monday. “Like other departments, the government has vowed to raise education ratio in the merged tribal districts and for the purpose essential initiatives will be taken to admit out of school children with five years”, CM remarked.

In this connection a gathering was organized in Shaheed Abdul Azam higher secondary school no.1,Jamrud that was attended by CM of KP Mehmood Khan as chief guest beside Federal Minister Noorul Haq Qadri, Federal Minister for education Shafqat Mehmood, Member Parliament Iqbal Afridi, advisers to CM on education and on tribal districts Ziaullah Baghash and Ajmal Wazir, sectary education Arshad Khan, director eliminatory and secondary education Muhammad Ibrahim, scores of educational officials and numbers of students, teachers and tribal elites were among the participants.

CM Mehmood Khan noted name of a child in register to formally kick off school admission drive 2019 in Khyber. He also examined different stalls, set up and decorated by students and appreciated their efforts by consuming their energies in positive activities.

Addressing on the occasion the chief gust said the incumbent federal and provincial governments carried out all necessary steps on priority basis to include ex-tribal regions in mainstream.

He added that to bring the tribal districts equal to other settle areas in field of education, scholarships would be granted to the students of the merged districts and in that matter a massive plan was under process.

Federal Minister for education Shafqat Mehmood assured that the present government would meet all requirements of educational of ex-tribal regions and would provide all educational facilities to the students of the area.

Arranging of such kind of programs proved that durable peace had been restored in the merged tribal districts.

Federal Minister for religious affairs Noorul Haq Qadri said that students of tribal districts had enough talent and provision of modern educating techniques and facilities to them was need of time to make them useful citizen of the country.

Earlier on, CM KP on his visit to Jamrud laid down foundation stone of construction of 7.7 kilometer of bypass road in addition of opening of clean and green Pakistan drive by planting a sapling in Jamrud grade station.
