CTD arrests two terrorists with explosives, hand grenade and cash in Bahawalpur

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested two terrorists of a banned outfit, recovered explosives, hand grenade and cash collected for the defunct organization here on Wednesday. The CTD on an intelligence tip-off regarding presence of extremists conducted operation in Saddar area of Bahawalpur. During operation, two terrorists of a defunct organization and identified as Hikmat Shah and Ahmad Raza were apprehended with explosives, hand grenade and thousands of rupees cash collected of the banned outfit. The CTD officials said that the nabbed terrorists wanted to target sensitive installations in Bahawalpur but in time action foiled the bid. The detainees were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
