KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Gwadar has surpassed its revenue collection Rs 3947.385 million against the overall assigned target during the Financial Year 2016-17.
The overall target of duty and taxes Rs. 22494.41 million was assigned to the Collectorate during the financial year 2016-17 and the achievement stood Rs 26441.795 million. Thus, there is increase of Rs 3947.385 million which stands plus 18% in overall revenue collection. The head wise break up of duty and taxes collected during the financial year 2016-17, Customs Duty Rs 6938.005 million, Sales Tax Rs 16957.136 million, Withholding Tax Rs 2522.605 million and Federal Excise Duty Rs. 24.049 million.
