Six family members die from roof collapse

Six members of a family including women and children died when roof of a house collapsed here on Friday. According to details, dilapidated roof of a house located in suburban village Arang of district Attock. Six members of family including two women, two minor girls and same number of boys were trapped under the debris and died before they could be rescued.

The rescue personnel and local people through their joint effort pulled out the bodies from the rubble and shifted them to hospital.

An environment of grief and sorrow prevailed in the area over sudden death of six family members.

The residents of area appealed the provincial government for financial assistance of the affected family.
