PTI spokesman says PML-N should change leadership not lawyers

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Fawad Chaudhary on Wednesday advised the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) to change their leadership instead of their legal team.

Talking to the media outside the Supreme Court (SC), he welcomed the Bench’s decision to have daily hearings on the Panama case.

He pointed out that the PML-N did not have any evidence on record over the transfer of money from Pakistan to Dubai and from Dubai to Qatar which proved their money laundering activities. He also noted that records showed that the London flats mentioned in the case had been purchased in 1993 which indicated that the PM and his family held their ownership since 1995.

He echoed the remarks of the SC regarding how Sharif had allocated all the property in question to Hussain Nawaz.

He also questionedthe fact that if the government truly desired to hide the details of the case from the public then why did they not take the case to the military courts. He emphasised that the property belonged to the people of Pakistan, who should be aware of the fraudulent activities being concocted by the PML-N.
