QUETTA: Terrorists shot dead two people in Jinnah Town of the provincial capital on Wednesday.
According to police sources, both victims were going somewhere when the assailants riding a motorcycle opened fire on them. Both the men died on the spot. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital where they were identified as Habibullah and Waheed Khan.
Later, the bodies were handed over to the heirs.
The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained so far.
Separately, Frontier Constabulary (FC) defused a 10 Kg bomb in the Chithar area of Nasirabad District.
According to FC spokesman, FC personnel and the Bomb Disposal Squad reached the scene and defused the improvised explosive device planted at the roadside in Tahir Goth.
The officials cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
