Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday appointed his close aide Saifullah Niazi as Chief Organiser of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

As per details, Saifullah Niazi called on the prime minister at his office here in Islamabad and discussed party matters.

Mr Niazi has been tasked to strengthen Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) roots in all the provinces, while he will also re-organise the party in Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and Islamabad.

He has also been given the responsibility to make party policies and prepare for elections.

PM Khan while expressing his best wishes for Saifullah Niazi for the future tasks said he is one of the senior party members.

To this, the newly appointed chief organiser thanked prime minister for putting his trust in him and vowed to work for the betterment of party.

Back in 2016, Niazi had stepped down from the position of PTI’s additional secretary general over differences with party leaders on the party policies.

He was appointed as the deputy central organizer of the party in 2015.

It should be noted that he was the chief of party’s committee during PTI’s sit-in in Islamabad two years ago.
