KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday expressed deep shock over the tragic deaths of seven children who were killed in a collision between a motorcycle-rickshaw and a train in Lodhran.
Expressing grief over the incident, Bilawal said, “Deaths of little children have sent waves of mourning all over those who heard the news. Not only their parents and relatives have gone through a deeply-felt pain but the incident has saddened the entire country.” The PPP chairman expressed sympathies with those who lost their sons and daughters in the accident and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and to grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreplaceable loss.
Bilawal said that an impartial entity should carry out accountability regarding this incident and find those responsible for the incident. He added that steps should be taken to avert such mishaps in the future.
