Maryam Nawaz, on Tuesday, thanked Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto for paying a visit to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at Kot Lakhpat jail.

She tweeted on social media that while she had met him on Tuesday, she wouldn’t be able to see her father on Thursday because of her present condition. The ex-premier’s daughter asserted that Nawaz continued to suffer from angina pain; the latest recurrence of chest pain being on Monday night.

The former first daughter also thanked people for their love and support in her tweet. After the meeting she briefly spoke to media, saying that in today’s meeting the father and daughter discussed Bilawal’s visit. The PPP chairman had earlier gone to visit the former prime minister at the prison and told media sources that it was the government’s responsibility to provide Nawaz with the best medical treatment.
