Punjab Baitul Maal Department holds Punjabi festival

Social Welfare and Baitul Maal Punjab department organised a festival to celebrate Punjabi culture on Thursday. Provincial Minister for Social and Bait-ul-Maal Punjab Muhammad Ajmal Cheema graced the event as a chief guest. He inaugurated the festival by cutting the ribbon. The major objective to celebrate this event is to promote the culture of Punjab and its values. The students of Sanatzar had set up various stalls in connection with Punjabi culture. The girls who are enrolled in different programs under seminar presented different tableaus and skits that highlighted the culture of Punjab. While addressing this eye soothing festival Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait ul Maal Punjab Muhammad Ajmal Cheema said that he is pleased to join these young energetic students who are very much close to their culture. He said that Punjabi culture is very beautiful and its values are pure. It is the need of time that we should promote it inside and outside the Pakistan, he added.
