PM gives mayor 90 days to fix issues

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed his satisfaction over a briefing made by Mayor Shaikh Ansar Aziz whereas he also approved 90-day action plan to fix the problems being faced by masses in the federal capital.

In response to a letter written by Prime Minister’s Office containing the PM’s displeasure over the civic body’s poor performance in resolving public issues, Shaikh Ansar Aziz, met with the Prime Minister on Friday and briefed him about a plan to fix the civic issue in three months.

The PM has given him a go ahead in this regard while he was also directed to once again submit a comprehensive presentation with categorical deadlines to accomplish welfare projects. Well-placed sources confirmed Aziz will continue as the Chairman CDA because of Prime Minister’s support.
