Lawyers press for establishment of LHC bench in Faisalabad

Author: Agencies

FAISALABAD: The legal fraternity observed a token strike on Saturday in light of their demand for the establishment of a Lahore High Court (LHC) bench in Faisalabad division as soon as possible.

The demands come in wake of the fact that litigants, especially bail-seekers from Faisalabad face difficulties in seeking justice.

A Faisalabad District Bar Association spokesman informed media that the LHC bench was not only the legal and constitutional right of the people of Faisalabad, but it would also facilitate the swift provision of justice to the people of the area.
