ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has asked for details of the fees paid to the counsels defending the Sharif family in the Panama papers case to be disclosed.

PTI leader Andleeb Abbas wrote a letter to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s personal secretary stating the source and amount of the fees paid to the family’s various counsels should be disclosed for the purpose of transparency.

She added that the hard earned money of the Pakistani people was allegedly being used to defend the PM, while raising questions on the misuse of state resources by ministers and assembly members.
