The edible and other items dispatched in 13 trucks include tents, quilts, flour, sugar, pulses, rice, tea, biscuits, gurr, dates and ghee. All these items were purchased under the supervision of Director Administration Brig Zaki Rehman Meer. Deputy Director Field Admin Col Aamir Maqsood and other officers of POF were present on the occasion of departure of trucks. They prayed for early rehabilitation of flood affectees of Balochistan.
“The POF administration is well aware of its social responsibilities.
There is a lot of damage due to recent torrential rains and subsequent floods in parts of Balochistan. POF has always contributed on the occasion of natural calamities facing the country,” the statement added.
