Five killed as truck collides with ambulance in Jamshoro

MIRPUR KHAS: At least five people were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and an ambulance near Manjhand City in district Jamshoro, police said n Saturday. Police said that the ambulance carrying a patient identified as Imam Zaidi was going to Jamshoro Hospital. The ambulance collided head-on with a truck in Manjhand City. As a result, five people including a woman were killed and two others injured. The killed were identified as Imam Zadi Birohi 35, Azhar Ali 14, Abdul Hai 42, and the ambulance driver Bashir Ahmad Babar and Maqsood. The bodies and the injured were shifted to Taluka Hospital Manjhand. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
