LAHORE: Former Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that the National Accountability Bureua (NAB) must be made an independent and autonomous institution instead of a remote control one.
Talking to the media he said that no benefit would come from any amendment until NAB became independent and autonomous.
He added that bad governance had become a burden for the nation and the country. He pointed out that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had gone to the judiciary against this system of corruption.
He urged that Pakistan needed a proper rule of law where all would be equal before it.
