Sir: The monster of corruption has gripped the entire country. It is particularly rampant in Sindh province, where there is no development, no drinking water and no good governance but only crime, corruption, embezzlement, fraud and encroachments.
The crooked ruling elite are looting and plundering the state’s resources. Sindh is the only province where even a low grade government official is a millionaire with bungalows in posh areas, children receiving higher education abroad and inestimable property in the country and abroad.
It is on record that those officers who do not indulge in corrupt practices or do not dance to the tune of the corrupt ruling elite are either transferred or suspended. Fabricated cases are framed against them to tease, terrorise, intimidate and harass them and their family members. Due to the presence of corrupt rulers in Sindh, one can say with full confidence that corruption can neither be eliminated nor minimised in the province.
