Hail to Spring!

Author: Farehia Rehman

Sometimes the heavy cold rains beat it back but finally the most loved season spring has emerged in the town with new and light green leaves on the branches of the trees and plants, with colorful blossoms grabbing all attentions.

Every year the leaves fall from the trees and their branches were bare against the wind and the cold wintry nights. But we knew that there would always be the spring. It is same like that there would always be a day after night and it is like to find happiness again after major depressions.

After a long and cold silence of winter season, birds start singing and sounding here and there, they feel fresh and break their silence through their sweet songs. There activities make us feel that they are feeling so happy and thanking to the God for giving such nice charming weather.

The most favorite and very effective season of the year is liked by everyone than other seasons. After waiting all winter long, we finally get to feel sun and warmth. When it comes it wakes up everything in the nature like trees, grasses, flowers, crops, animals, human beings and other living things from the long sleep of dull and cold winter.

Everything comes back to life. Colorful flowers completely win the hearts and greenery gives a nice feeling. Heavy and light rains during the season enhance the beauties of the season and help to grow more and more plants.

Despite having many attractions it is also a very sensitive season from health point of view. Various epidemic diseases like common cold, smallpox, chicken-pox, and measles are very common and taking extra care for health is thus imperative.
